This article is for the Legacy version of Appointlet. Click here to browse the knowledge base on the most recent app version.

For some users, it may be helpful to include descriptions in each step of the booking process to provide additional information to the attendee. Appointlet includes default headers for certain steps of the process, but we do offer the ability to allow our users to make these more specific to their organization's use case.

For example, a spa may want to use the header "select a room" rather than the default message "select a member" because their client's are selecting rooms, not people. In another scenario, a sales team may reword "meeting" to "select a consultation" since their customers are thinking of the event as a consultative demonstration.

In this article we'll show you where to go in the app to update these headers.

How to Customize the wording of the Headers in the Scheduler

To modify the headers on your booking page click on Settings in the upper left corner of Appointlet. From there, select the Wording tab and enter new phrases into any of the necessary fields.

Below is a screenshot of what this modal looks like in the app:

Take a look at the screenshot below to see where the header option will show in the booking flow for meetings, members, times, information, and review. Notice that the "Global" header is located just under the Organization name and will remain there throughout each step.

See the screenshot to see where the "Completed" header will display. This is the final step your user sees when the've completed the booking process.

Finally, exit out of Settings to save your changes. Then visit your booking page to see how it reads!
